The video encryption process takes a flash video file, a pair of symmetric encryption keys, and possible time offset to produce an "encrypted FLV" file. This eFLV can be loaded onto a streaming web server or progressive download site. The GKRSoft player displays the encrypted film using the supplied keys and decrypts the video / audio buffers in memory only. The addition of Yubico OTP authentication ensures that only the intended recipient may watch the film. Yubico is essential, when two-factor assurance is required.
