YubiKey security

In the current release Rohos uses YubiKey as a static identifier without verifying OTP.

How it works

Rohos Logon remembers selected YubiKey that user has chosen for protection. From that moment when YubiKey gets disconnected from Mac - Rohos Logon immediately locks Mac desktop. Depending on a system option “Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver” Rohos Logon will use screen-saver to lock your Mac or its own lock window.

If you don’t want to keep your single USB port busy with connected USB Key choose ‘Nothing’ for YubiKey removal action.

Rohos Logon user interface allows you to quickly turn ON or OFF USB key protection.
